FC Copenhagen

It’s currently the best Danish football has to offer not only in terms of professional football, but also in terms of U-19 football. This years’ participation makes it 3 participations in total. However, the last participations were quite a while ago in 2000 and 2007. One can say that FC Kopenhagen became the flagship of Danish football in the last years. The professional team for example proofed their strong defense last season with a series of 20 undefeated matches in a raw. The U-19 team on the other hand played FC Porto, Brügge and Leicester City in the UEFA Youth League last season. They came out  2nd in the group stage when they unfortunately struggled in the first knock out round. Their team is full of Danish national players e.g. top scorer Jonas Wind. A promising talent, Nikolas Nartey, was transferred to 1. FC Köln last season and is currently supporting the U-17 team of Cologne.

Tournament Participations: 2000, 2007 (4th)

Top Players: Jesper Bech (2000), Marc Dal Hende (2007)

Current National Players: Filip Djukic (U18 Montenegro), Victor Jensen, Rasmus Møller (both U17 Denmark), Niklas Vesterlund, Luka Racic, Morten Hjulmand, Carlo Holse, Jonas Wind (all U18 Denmark), Henrik Bellmann (U18 Sweden), Joel Felix, Nicklas Røjkjær, Mads Roerslev (all U19 Denmark)
